Guerra: "It's hard to win games at this stage of the season"
The midfielder reacts to the win on Matchday 32
Javi Guerra looked back on the win over Girona FC in conversation with VCF Media.
The result
"This is a very important victory, which has given the team some breathing room in the table. In the first half we lacked effectiveness in the final third, then in the second half we were more effective and it gave us more confidence to go for the game."
A tough time of the season
"We know it's a time of the season in which it's hard to win games. You have to be able to suffer and today we saw that here at Mestalla."
The importance of Dimitrievski
"Dimitrievski kept the team in the game with several saves. I was talking to Stole about this, then he pulled off another great save, and those are the kinds of saves that give you the 3 points. I'm very happy for him."
The next game
"If we get the 3 points against Atletico Madrid it will give us a lot more of a cushion, but we can't let up. We must continue to strive to get through this final stage of the season."
